and no, I don't actually intend to finis my nano in 4 days. it's just that I have the weekend (and the first 2 days of november) off, and after that it's back to the chaingang for me. I just want to get a decent headstart, you know? ;) and my story is all sorts of love.

The only thing that really pisses me off is that the nanowrimo forums are slow as all hell. Damn it, forum people. I get 1 chance a year to gloat just a little, and you're ruining it. Thanks.

trust me, you don't. I wrote 12500 words the last 24 hours.

I went jetskying today :D it was awesome, and awesome, and awesome, and did I mention it was awesome already? :D

Stuff is a little messy in the head of me right now, but I suppose most of that is just being away from home and destressing and stuff.

anyway, back to watching firefly :D

I'm going to drive upstate with Kat tomorrow to see my cousin, which should be good.

I saw a walmart today. I'm pretty sure that was the first and the last time I'll ever go into one. It seems to breed lethargia. My braincells were starting to leap out of my ears after about 20 minutes. brr. But at least we got a working phone so we can reach people when we're out of the house, without borrowing a phone from someone who might need it as well.

we're going to see my cousin who moved to New Jersey a while ago on wednesday, so that should be great. With a little luck, we might even hit the beach today :D

all in all, there's been a lot of lugging around with stuff during the past few days, which should stop for a bit from now on. Vacation time is finally there. I might get to read a book. I might get to write a bit :D

i'm actually enjoying my stay quite a bit :p but, relaxation will have to happen soon.

oh, and to add vagueness to this entry, which is 'liberated' WT related: Very mature of you guys. Really. Negative surprises ftl.

after a grueling 8 hour flight that was 1 hour delayed, and a trip back to Kat's house which involved a lot of traffic. And a lot of big, big trucks. That's one thing that's bigger in the US than it is in the Netherlands. Trucks. Big f'ing trucks everywhere. I liked it :D

And that's about all the opinion I have of my vacation so far, other than that flying sucked, continental shows crappy inflight movies, and I'm tired :)

Also, my mobile phone doesn't work :S

So I can't actually call anyone to say I've arrived safely, which sucks.

I'm sure things will be more inspiring tomorrow.

oh, and for the Resonance readers: I wrote a little side story involving Chang Kun Wei and the reason why he left the league for two years on the plane today. twas good.

I would like to keep rp'ing without feeling overly guilty about people losing staff positions. Been there, done that, wasn't fun the first time around.

come to think of it, the second time sucked as well. Just about as much as the third time. And the fourth time. Maybe the fifth time was a little less aggravating, but the sixth time is definitely epic.

so to make a long and Optimus Prime filled story short, I saw the transformers movie just now. There was so much wrong with that movie. Like when they made... and then that guy... and since when is... and what about...

but oh man. Oh. man. fangasm. Back to 5 to 12 or so year old me. It was a movie with transformers. it had Optimus Prime. Can I see it again tomorrow?
